All About Research
I am leading our work on the mechanical characterization of soft tissues in Soft Matter Biomechanics lab. My main focus will be on indentation-based testing of soft tissue properties and their changes in neurodegenerative diseases. My goal is to establish robust methods that refer the soft tissue mechanical properties (changes) directly from microstructure (changes). My work is on tissue level soft tissue mechanics but also very interested in cell level mechanics, including aspects related to regeneration and remodeling.

About My Life
My lovely son - Nono
I have an adorable, irreplaceable son, friend, and healer named Nono in the house. I am always grateful to have him with me on my Ph.D. journey. Check out his photo—doesn't he look cute?
My hobby
I really enjoy visiting different places with beautiful natural scenery. I particularly love going on road trips, and one of my dreams is to witness the Great Migration of animals in Africa. The following pictures are from a road trip in November 2023.
